As a Backend Engineer specializing in Go, you will design, build, test, and operate production web applications and services. You will help translate customer needs into reliable technical solutions, contributing throughout the development lifecycle from requirements definition and architecture through deployment and ongoing improvement.
Your responsibilities will include developing backend services, building cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS, and implementing robust unit and end-to-end testing. You will collaborate with an international engineering team, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge through direct mentoring. You will also have opportunities to work with modern Go and AWS technologies, containerized applications, infrastructure as code, and potentially generative AI features.
This permanent position is based in Tokyo and offers a flexible hybrid arrangement. The expected salary range is JPY 9,000,000–13,500,000.
