Good understanding of the Go toolchain, testing, debugging, profiling, modules, and dependency management.
Experience building backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.
Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerised applications.
Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Experience with REST APIs and OpenAPI.
Good understanding of event-driven / asynchronous architectures.
Experience with modern observability practices; OpenTelemetry is a strong plus.
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, especially DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
Comfortable working across the boundary between software and network infrastructure.
Required Experience

Experience with network automation or service orchestration.
Experience with Helm and Kubernetes-based platforms.

Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, BNG, broadband provisioning, or similar technologies.
Experience with Australian NBN or large-scale telecommunications projects.
