Our client, an organization developing AI-powered applications, focuses on solutions that support engineering, urban planning, and related use cases. The organization works with AI, data, and software technologies to develop enterprise-grade applications.
Role overview:
The Senior Software Engineer will lead the development of scalable AI-powered systems that process and extract insights from unstructured engineering documents, including CAD/BIM designs, technical reports, and regulatory documents. The role focuses on backend and API development, AI/ML integration, cloud deployment, and collaboration with data scientists and product teams.
Key responsibilities:
Backend Engineering Design, develop, and optimize scalable AI-powered backend systems using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Django.
AI/ML Integration Build and maintain APIs integrating LLMs, vision models, and RAG frameworks into enterprise applications.
Application Development Develop and optimize front-end applications using React, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks.
Cloud & Deployment Deploy AI-driven services across cloud and on-premise environments while supporting security and compliance requirements.
Data & AI Infrastructure Work with vector databases and structured/unstructured data storage solutions to support AI-powered applications.
DevOps & Security Implement CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps practices while ensuring system performance, security, and reliability.
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend development, API development, and AI/ML integration.
Proficiency in Python, including FastAPI, Flask, or Django, and React with TypeScript or similar frameworks.
Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment.
Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models, including LLMs, RAG, or Vision AI, in production environments.
Experience with data processing pipelines, including ETL, batch, and streaming systems.
Strong understanding of security practices for API development and AI-driven systems.
Ability to optimize and scale AI-powered applications for high performance and reliability.
