The Bioprocessing Sales Specialist will drive commercial growth for filtration solutions used in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. This role will build trusted relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers, understand their process requirements, and translate technical needs into effective product and application recommendations.
Key responsibilities include developing new business, managing existing customer relationships, identifying opportunities within assigned accounts, and supporting customers throughout the sales process. The specialist will collaborate closely with internal technical, applications, marketing, and customer service teams to deliver responsive and knowledgeable support.
The successful candidate will combine consultative selling skills with a strong interest in bioprocessing. They will serve as a knowledgeable resource on filtration technologies, communicate value clearly to technical and commercial stakeholders, and contribute to long-term customer partnerships and business growth.
Experience in sales, business development, applications support, or technical customer engagement within the bioprocessing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sector.
Working knowledge of filtration technologies and their application in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Ability to understand customer processes, identify operational challenges, and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Demonstrated consultative selling and relationship-building skills with technical, procurement, and senior business stakeholders.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate sales activity and follow-up.
Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technical, applications, marketing, and customer service colleagues.
Commercially minded, proactive, and motivated by achieving measurable growth.
Willingness to travel to meet customers and support business development activities.
Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, biotechnology, or a related field
