Head of MEP

The role

You will lead the MEP function and its team, with full responsibility for the technical quality, coordination and delivery of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire and life safety services. You'll oversee MEP work from concept and design development through tender, construction, testing, commissioning and handover. You'll work closely with the architecture, structural and project management disciplines to deliver fully coordinated solutions, and you'll act as the senior MEP point of contact for clients, contractors and authorities. The role also covers resource planning, quality control, team development and reporting to senior leadership on performance, risk and priorities.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a master's being an advantage. You'll need at least 15 years of MEP experience, including significant time in a Head of MEP or equivalent senior leadership role. You should have a proven track record of leading MEP teams on complex projects, and experience on major projects in the Middle East or international markets is desirable. Professional engineering registration is preferred. Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder skills are essential.
