Our client is an established manufacturer of professional electric lighting equipment serving Japan’s specialized lighting market. The company combines technical expertise, product quality, and practical customer understanding to deliver solutions for a range of commercial and professional applications.
With a focused, hands-on culture, the organization values accountability, market knowledge, collaboration, and consistent execution. Employees have the opportunity to work closely with leadership, influence commercial strategy, and contribute directly to business growth. This is an attractive opportunity for a sales leader who enjoys building sustainable market presence, developing people, and turning strategy into measurable results.
The Senior Sales Manager will lead the sales function and build practical 4P marketing and sales strategies for the Japanese domestic market. The role will focus on creating consistent demand through proactive promotions, seasonal campaigns, customer development, and channel management rather than relying primarily on social media or pull advertising.
You will be responsible for delivering budget targets, building a stable sales pipeline, and reducing dependence on occasional large seasonal orders. As a hands-on player-coach, you will manage and develop the sales team while remaining actively involved in key commercial initiatives. The team is expected to grow from three members to approximately five, including management, business development, and commission-based sales roles.
