Based in Tokyo, this permanent, full-time, on-site role supports the growing programme of fragrance and beauty retail openings, renovations and improvements across Japan, including travel-retail locations. Reporting to the Architect Manager, you will adapt global design concepts to different retail environments and help guide projects from initial concept through design development, tendering, construction and store opening.
You will develop retail designs using SketchUp, produce 3D visualisations for stakeholder review and prepare drawing packages to support project delivery and cost estimates. Working with merchandising, internal teams, retailers, consultants, suppliers and contractors, you will coordinate store presentation and help uphold design and construction quality across locations. You will also identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering, and support retrofits, maintenance and other store improvements.
