This project is focused on helping organisations overcome fragmented SaaS environments by connecting business systems and enabling AI agents to execute workflows autonomously. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with client organisations to understand their processes, data and technology landscape, identify opportunities for AI-led transformation, and rapidly build solutions that deliver measurable business value.
You will contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, from problem discovery and proof-of-concept development through to production deployment, adoption and continuous improvement. The client is a rapidly growing Japanese AI technology company developing next-generation enterprise systems and AI-powered products. The role offers exposure to varied industries, emerging AI-agent technology and complex business challenges, while providing the opportunity to influence product development through insights gathered in the field.
Analyse customers’ business processes, data environments and existing SaaS systems to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvement.
Structure ambiguous business challenges, develop hypotheses and propose practical technical solutions.
Collaborate with senior leaders, operational teams and technical stakeholders to establish trusted working relationships.
Design and rapidly build full-stack workflows and proofs of concept using the client’s enterprise AI platform.
Integrate third-party SaaS applications through APIs and connect relevant data sources.
Develop AI-agent workflows for approvals, resource allocation, data integration and customer prospecting.
Support production deployment, operational design, security considerations and customer adoption.
Measure outcomes including reduced processing time, improved productivity, active usage and return on investment.
Identify recurring customer needs and communicate actionable insights to product and engineering teams.
Contribute to reusable workflows, platform improvements and future product priorities.
Experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, customer success or enterprise software implementation.
Familiarity with AI-agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen or CrewAI.
Experience designing data integrations, ETL pipelines or workflows involving multiple business systems.
Knowledge of security fundamentals, including authentication, authorisation, encryption and compliance.
Experience working with enterprise customers or supporting complex stakeholder environments.
Exposure to project management, delivery planning or cross-functional product development.
Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, BigQuery or PostgreSQL.
English-language technical communication skills.
