An emerging hospitality business is developing a portfolio of upscale lifestyle properties in Japan. Its ambition is to create distinctive stays that combine thoughtful service with a strong sense of place, while building the operational foundations needed to deliver a consistent experience across its properties.
The business offers the opportunity to contribute at an early stage, helping shape practical service standards and guest experiences as the organisation grows. Collaboration between leadership and property teams is central to the work, with an emphasis on testing ideas in practice and learning from team and guest feedback. For a hospitality professional who values hands-on contribution, operational excellence and the character of lifestyle properties, this is an opportunity to help bring a growing hospitality vision to life.
As Hospitality Manager, you will help turn the business’s hospitality vision into consistent, memorable guest experiences. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, working closely with leadership and property teams across departments and locations. You will develop and refine operating procedures for food and beverage, rooms and reservations, then support teams to put them into practice through training, coordination and ongoing improvements.
You will help connect the guest journey from initial enquiry through to departure, translating the lifestyle positioning into service behaviours and guest touchpoints. You will also work with colleagues to develop and launch a membership programme that encourages engagement and repeat stays, and supports a consistent proposition across properties. Based in Tokyo, you will travel to Hokkaido and other locations in Japan as required, contributing to operational planning and readiness for developments, openings and transitions.
