Development Manager, Muscat, Oman

A leading regional developer is expanding into the Sultanate of Oman with a major residential and mixed-use development in Muscat, and is hiring a Development Manager to take ownership of the project from feasibility through to handover.

You will lead market research and feasibility studies to establish project viability, shape the development brief and product mix, appoint and manage multidisciplinary consultant teams, drive design development and tendering, manage development budgets and cash flow against approved business plans, and coordinate with government authorities and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle. You will report into the Development Director and work closely with the wider development, investment and finance teams.

We are looking for a Development Manager with 8 to 15 years of experience gained developer-side on residential and mixed-use projects in Oman. Familiarity with local regulations, authorities and the development environment is essential, and exposure to Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning projects would be a strong advantage. Candidates should be comfortable across the full lifecycle rather than specialised in design or construction alone. The role is based in Muscat with regular travel to the company's Saudi headquarters.
