This role is a great opportunity for an organised, proactive and communicative individual who enjoys supporting business development in an international environment. Based in Tokyo, you will work closely with regional leadership and design professionals to help manage client relationships, support marketing activity and contribute to the preparation of proposals and presentations.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining and updating the CRM database, researching potential clients and project opportunities, tracking market intelligence and tender announcements, and coordinating proposal submissions and fee documentation. You will also assist with marketing tasks such as website updates, newsletters, social media coordination, award submissions and client communications. In addition, you will support networking events, client hospitality and the preparation of high-quality presentation materials in both Japanese and English.
Bilingual Japanese and English, spoken and written, with the ability to prepare professional documents in both languages
Highly organised, detail-oriented and service-minded
Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude
Comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
Experience with Adobe Acrobat; Canva or Adobe InDesign is an advantage
