As Senior Director – Manufacturing Industry Consulting, you will help expand the consulting business across discrete and process manufacturing. You will identify opportunities, build trusted client relationships and develop proposals and solutions that address clients’ strategic and operational priorities. Working with colleagues across the wider business, you will also look for opportunities to extend the value delivered to clients.
You will lead complex consulting engagements spanning business strategy, operational improvement and IT-enabled transformation. This includes guiding teams, managing delivery quality and risk, and maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders. You will translate manufacturing challenges into practical transformation roadmaps, drawing on relevant technology and industry capabilities. Alongside client work, you will contribute to consulting methods and thought leadership, share knowledge, mentor consultants and help build the organisation’s capabilities and market presence.
Professional experience in consulting, with the ability to lead client-facing work and deliver practical outcomes.
Strong IT knowledge and relevant hands-on IT experience.
Specialist expertise in at least one area of discrete or process manufacturing, with the ability to apply that knowledge to business transformation.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to build trusted client relationships and align diverse stakeholders.
Experience developing manufacturing strategies, improving business processes or shaping technology-enabled transformation initiatives.
The judgement to lead complex engagements, manage delivery risks and maintain high standards of quality.
Experience in project management, consulting engagement leadership or the management of cross-functional teams is advantageous.
Japanese proficiency at native level is preferred. Basic working proficiency in English is expected; the source material indicates approximately TOEIC 500 or equivalent.
