The client is seeking a Chief Product Officer to lead the company-wide product organization and shape the next stage of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for defining mid- to long-term product strategy, aligning product direction with business goals, and strengthening product development capabilities across the organization.
You will work closely with the CEO and CTO to set product vision, prioritize across multiple product lines, and ensure strong execution across CHAT, AI AGENT, Speech, and other AI-driven product areas. In addition to leading and developing the 13-person PdM team, you will directly own important product decisions, including requirements definition, specifications, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, KPI management, and cross-functional alignment with engineering, sales, customer success, and design. The role requires turning customer needs, market insight, and competitor analysis into clear product direction and measurable business impact.
5+ years of product management experience
Experience leading product strategy from planning through execution
Strong market research and competitor analysis skills
Experience working with development teams on requirements and specifications
People management experience leading 5+ team members
Strong communication and leadership skills
Business-level Japanese and daily conversational English [suggestion: business-level English preferred]
