The organisation represents a premium automotive marque in the Japanese market, working with dealers and specialist suppliers to deliver a high-quality ownership experience. Its work combines the standards of an established international business with the practical demands of a market shaped by local regulations, customer expectations and dealer needs.
For an automotive professional, this is an opportunity to contribute directly to the condition and quality of vehicles before they reach customers. The role works across inspection, technical support, supplier performance and dealer training, with regular links to regional and headquarters teams. It offers broad exposure to the vehicle lifecycle and the chance to influence how quality processes are applied and improved across the Japanese network.
As VPC Controller, you will oversee vehicle condition and quality at the Vehicle Processing Centre (VPC), helping ensure new vehicles meet applicable quality standards and local legal requirements before dealer delivery. You will plan inspection and repair activity in line with sales requirements, maintain inspection procedures, and monitor supplier performance to balance vehicle condition with cost.
You will also support dealers with technical guidance and PDI procedures, contribute to investigations into vehicle quality issues, and report findings to headquarters. The role includes building and maintaining records of inspection and repair outcomes, monitoring stock vehicle condition, and auditing VPC and dealer processes. You will help ensure relevant staff are trained and coordinate logistics, facilities and manpower for special vehicle activities and events. Travel is required in line with business needs.
