Join a global premium spirits business with a strong portfolio of distinctive brands and a commitment to building long-term growth. The company combines entrepreneurial thinking with the resources and standards of an international organisation, creating an environment where people are encouraged to solve problems, seize opportunities and contribute bold ideas.
Teamwork, inclusion and personal development are central to the culture. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in Japan, working at the forefront of the highly competitive ready-to-drink beverage market and helping shape how premium products reach consumers.
As Trade Marketing Specialist, you will turn premium brand strategies into compelling, high-impact execution across Japan’s leading retail channels. You will own the 12-month trade activation calendar, develop partner briefs and provide the tools required to secure distribution, strengthen visibility and improve sales velocity.
Working closely with third-party distribution partners, sales teams and key account managers, you will prepare persuasive selling stories and customised toolkits for trade negotiations. You will design channel-specific activations for convenience stores and supermarkets, manage outsourced merchandiser deployment and establish clear “Perfect Store” standards for format, placement and execution.
The role also includes managing trade marketing expenditure, coordinating point-of-sale materials with procurement partners, monitoring retail and competitor performance, and using insights to refine plans. Based in Tokyo, this is a permanent hybrid position offering significant influence across commercial and marketing teams.
