· Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in line with company and client requirements.
· Prepare and manage:
o Project Quality Plan (PQP)
o Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
o Quality procedures and method statements
· Ensure compliance with:
o Project specifications
o International standards (ISO, API, ASME, etc.)
o Contractual requirements
· Lead and manage QA/QC team including:
o QA Engineers
o QC Inspectors
o Welding Inspectors
o NDT Personnel
· Coordinate with:
o Engineering team (for design quality)
o Procurement team (for vendor quality)
o Construction team (for site quality control)
o Commissioning team (for system quality verification)
· Review and approve:
o Material submittals
o Vendor documents
o Inspection reports
o Test certificates
· Ensure all materials and equipment meet project specifications before installation.
· Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with approved procedures and ITPs.
· Conduct and manage:
o Internal audits
o Vendor audits
o Site inspections and surveillance
· Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure proper corrective and preventive actions.
· Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of:
o Quality records
o Test reports
o As-built documentation
· Participate in:
o Client inspections
o Third-party inspections
o Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
o Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
· Ensure quality requirements are met during:
o Mechanical completion
o Pre-commissioning
o Commissioning and handover
· Prepare regular quality reports and present to project management.
· Strong knowledge of:
o EPC/EPCC project execution in oil & gas industry
o Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)
o Material inspection and certification
o Welding, Mechanical(Rotating/Static), Civil, Electrical, Painting, Piping, Electrical&Instrument standards and procedures, NDT methods and inspection techniques.
· Familiarity with:
o API, ASME, ASTM, ISO standards
o Project documentation systems
o Inspection and test procedures
· Minimum 12–15 years of experience in oil & gas or energy sector.
· Minimum 5 years in a Lead/ Managerial QA/QC role on EPCC projects.
· Proven experience in:
o Large-scale construction projects
o Multidisciplinary quality management
o Vendor and site inspections
· Experience in handling:
o Client audits
o Third-party inspections
o International project standards
