As an Account Supervisor within the healthcare communications business, you will advise pharmaceutical clients on promotional activities for prescription medicines while leading projects from initial proposal through delivery. You will serve as a trusted client partner, translating business and communication objectives into effective, compliant marketing solutions.
Your responsibilities will include consulting sales, strategic planning, proposal development, and project management across a broad range of materials and initiatives. These may include product information brochures, patient education materials, medical representative training tools, websites and digital tools for healthcare professionals and patients, advertisements in medical journals, conference publications, and symposiums.
You will coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders, manage timelines and quality, and help ensure that projects are delivered smoothly, efficiently, and to a high professional standard. The role is based in Tokyo and operates on a permanent, hybrid basis.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including experience as a medical representative, in medical affairs, or in a related scientific function.
Experience in advertising, publishing, printing, or client-facing sales within a communications environment.
At least three years of experience at a prescription pharmaceutical advertising agency, enabling you to contribute effectively from the outset.
Demonstrated experience managing teams, projects, or cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong client relationship management, consultative selling, and presentation skills.
The ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with accuracy and sound judgment.
A solid understanding of promotional communications for prescription medicines and the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
Business-level English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in marketing, communications, life sciences, or a related field.
