Role Purpose
Lead business delivery for the Product Configuration & Lifecycle domain during core insurance migration, ensuring all Life, Health, Investment-Linked (ILP), and Annuity products are accurately modeled, configured, and validated on the target platform.
Key Responsibilities
Domain Ownership: Own the domain delivery plan for product migration, product rule rationalization, and technical product setup across legacy and new core systems.
Product Modeling: Direct the business analysis of product features (riders, premium tables, surrender values, bonus calculations, fund links) and map them precisely into the target system architecture.
Actuarial & Business Alignment: Act as the primary bridge between Actuarial, Product Development, IT, and Vendor teams to resolve product design ambiguities and edge cases.
Cross-Domain Integration: Coordinate product configuration dependencies with New Business (rating), Policy Servicing (alterations), and Finance (accounting entries).
Validation & Testing: Lead calculation engine validation, benefit illustration matching, and product acceptance testing.
Preferred Industry/Domain Experience
Strong background in Life Insurance Product Management, Actuarial Science, or Product Factory Configuration.
Expertise in modeling traditional Life, Participating, Universal Life, and Unit-Linked (ILP) products on modern core platforms (e.g., BaNCS, eLife, Life Asia/400, Duck Creek, Guidewire).
Success Measures
100% accuracy in product benefit and policy value calculation engine outputs.
Timely product catalog sign-off and configuration lock.
Zero policy migration errors resulting from misconfigured product rules.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
· At least 12 years of business analysis, project delivery or domain-lead experience in complex transformation programmes.
· Fluent communicator in English and Chinese
