The Retail Manager will oversee retail store sales operations and support the growth of the brand’s store network in Japan. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day retail performance while also contributing to store expansion, pop-up store execution, and coordination with external partners and landlords.
The position is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a growing, evolving organization and is comfortable building structure where needed. In addition to managing operations, the role requires identifying improvements, proposing new ideas, and helping strengthen internal processes. The successful candidate will work closely with head office and store teams to ensure smooth execution, strong sales performance, and consistent brand presentation across all channels.
Broad retail operations experience in a mid-sized organization
Hands-on experience in store expansion and pop-up store management
Background in food retail, F&B, cosmetics, or brand-driven retail [suggestion]
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Proactive, improvement-oriented mindset; BA required
Base salary up to JPY 10,000,000, determined by experience
Annual salary review and discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary
