- Pursue new target accounts through outreach, building and closing new business.
- Sell across the full product portfolio, positioning the company as a multi-product partner.
- Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through proposal and close.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across telecom, gas utility, electric utility, oil & gas pipeline, and damage prevention organizations.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within current and new accounts.
- Work closely with every department, including Support, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Finance, and Leadership.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information in Salesforce CRM.
- Attend industry conferences and events, a couple of times a year at first.
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a clear understanding of the full sales process.
- At least 1 year of sales experience in telecom, gas utility, electric utility, oil & gas pipelines, or damage prevention.
- Experience managing existing customer accounts as well as prospecting new business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read the room and understand customer needs.
- Experience with a CRM, ideally Salesforce.
- Based in the United States or Canada, available Monday to Friday, and comfortable working with a manager on Eastern time.
- Willingness to travel a couple of times a year.
Nice-to-Have
- Sales experience with asset integrity solutions for pipelines, especially selling to pipeline integrity engineers.
- Experience in underground damage prevention.
- An existing network within gas, electric, telecom, or pipeline companies.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions.
- Based in the Eastern or Central time zone.
Compensation
USD $100K-$120K base salary, plus uncapped commission.
