As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships in the Tokyo market. You will introduce the company’s genomics and life sciences solutions to prospective and existing customers, understand their needs, and provide appropriate product and service recommendations.
Your responsibilities will include managing the sales cycle from prospecting through closing, maintaining an accurate customer pipeline, preparing presentations and proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to support successful delivery. You will also monitor market developments, identify new opportunities, and represent the company professionally at customer meetings and industry events. Experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related customer-facing role, preferably within life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, diagnostics, or a technical environment.
Strong ability to identify customer needs, communicate value clearly, and build trusted long-term relationships.
Commercially minded approach with confidence managing prospecting, negotiations, proposals, and sales follow-up.
Ability to understand and explain technical or scientific products to customers with varying levels of expertise.
Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.
Self-motivated and proactive working style, with the ability to manage priorities independently.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a multicultural, international environment.
Professional fluency in Japanese and working proficiency in English.
