Medical Science Liaison (m/f/d) – Hematology / Oncology
Field-based | Southern Germany
On behalf of our client – a fast-growing international specialty pharma company focused on rare and critical-care conditions – we are looking for an experienced Medical Science Liaison to build and manage medical activities across Southern Germany.
This is an autonomous, field-based role with real ownership: you shape KOL engagement, medical strategy, and scientific exchange in your territory, reporting into the European MSL leadership.
Your responsibilities
Build and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and external experts through scientific exchange
Communicate complex clinical evidence to HCPs in a balanced, non-promotional way
Gather field medical insights and translate them for internal Medical, Commercial, and R&D teams
Define and execute local medical plans aligned with country and corporate strategy
Support congresses, advisory boards, and scientific educational activities
Support clinical trials: site identification, initiation, and ongoing scientific support
Deliver internal and external therapy training as a subject-matter expert
Your profile
University degree in Life Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, or Nursing – Master's or above)
Min. 5 years in Pharma / Life Sciences, ideally as an MSL
Strong knowledge of the German medical landscape: hospitals, scientific societies, and stakeholders – Hematology/Oncology network strongly preferred
Proven ability to master new therapeutic areas
Fluent in German and English
Based near a major city with an international airport in Southern Germany
