Act as a key point of contact for clients, developing a deep understanding of their investment interests, priorities and business needs, and building long-term, trusted relationships.
Identify and develop new institutional relationships and business opportunities across the GCC.
Proactively engage with prospective clients, arrange and attend senior-level meetings, introduce the firm and its capabilities, and develop the firm's institutional client network in the Middle East.
Represent the firm in client meetings, investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, industry events and other market-facing activities.
Present the firm's business, investment capabilities, market perspectives and China-related opportunities in a clear, professional and engaging manner.
Leverage the firm's resources and expertise in Chinese and global capital markets to facilitate connectivity between GCC investors and Chinese financial markets and investment opportunities.
Work closely with teams in China and overseas to identify relevant opportunities and develop tailored solutions based on client interests and requirements.
Serve as a key liaison between GCC clients and the firm's investment banking, capital markets, research and other business teams in China and overseas.
Coordinate internal resources to ensure effective follow-up on client discussions, investment opportunities and business initiatives.
Monitor developments across the UAE and wider GCC financial markets, investment landscape and institutional investor community.
Provide clients with relevant market insights and communicate client feedback, market intelligence and emerging opportunities internally to support the firm's business development strategy.
Support the growth and development of the firm's Dubai office and broader Middle East franchise.
Contribute to client outreach, investor engagement, market development, relationship mapping, brand building and key institutional events across the GCC.
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Business or a related discipline.
3–8 years of relevant experience in investor relations, institutional client coverage, institutional sales, investment banking, corporate/investor relations, business development or a related financial services role.
Strong UAE or GCC market experience is highly preferred, with an established network among institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, family offices, large corporates or other professional investors.
Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships, develop new business opportunities and represent an institution in external meetings and market-facing activities.
Excellent investor-facing, presentation and communication skills, with the confidence and ability to engage with senior executives, investment professionals, government-related entities and institutional investors.
Arabic proficiency is strongly preferred, ideally with strong knowledge of the UAE and/or wider GCC business environment and local institutional investor landscape.
Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written business communication skills.
Strong interest in and understanding of China's capital markets, Chinese financial institutions and China–GCC investment and business relations. Previous experience working with Chinese financial institutions, Chinese companies or China-related clients is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams across China and the Middle East.
Commercially minded, proactive and relationship-oriented, with strong market awareness, cultural sensitivity and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
