Role Purpose
Lead business delivery for the Finance & Actuarial domain during core migration, ensuring general ledger integration, chart of accounts mapping, premium/claims accounting, commission sub-ledger, and regulatory reporting alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Domain Ownership: Own business scope for Financial Accounting, Premium Billing & Collection, Claims Payout Accounting, Commission Ledger, Reinsurance Accounting, and Actuarial Data Feeds.
Ledger & Rules Design: Define and validate accounting rules, posting keys, chart of accounts (COA) mapping, and sub-ledger to general ledger (GL) interfaces.
Regulatory & Valuation Support: Ensure target system output supports regulatory reporting (e.g., IFRS 17 / RBC frameworks) and actuarial valuation model feeds.
Reconciliation & Testing: Drive financial reconciliation testing, parallel run validations, and trial balance sign-offs between legacy and target systems.
Preferred Industry/Domain Experience
Deep experience in Life Insurance Finance, Sub-Ledger Systems, or Actuarial Data Infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of insurance accounting principles, IFRS 17, reinsurance accounting, and financial reconciliation controls.
Success Measures
100% financial trial balance reconciliation during parallel runs.
Seamless automated posting from core PAS to General Ledger and Actuarial Data Marts.
Zero audit or compliance gaps in financial posting rules and audit trails.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
· At least 12 years of business analysis, project delivery or domain-lead experience in complex transformation programmes.
· Fluent communicator in English and Chinese
