ABOUT THE COMPANY:
A global multi-brand manufacturer and distributor in the automotive aftermarket, the business has a strong international presence and a diverse portfolio of specialist products. As part of its continued growth, it is strengthening its in-house performance marketing capabilities to drive digital acquisition and commercial performance across its brands.
ABOUT THE JOB:
This is a senior, hands-on paid media role responsible for the day-to-day management and optimisation of campaigns across multiple brands and markets. The successful candidate will remain deeply involved in campaign execution while setting high standards for PPC operations, supporting junior team members, and delivering results with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-Day Campaign Operations
Lead daily paid media operations across multiple brands and markets, ensuring campaigns are live, funded, and performing to plan
Own campaign implementation and launch management from brief through to delivery
Run daily/weekly optimisation routines — bids, budgets, placements, audiences, negative keywords, creative rotation
Monitor performance closely to catch issues, risks, or opportunities early, and troubleshoot tracking, delivery, or billing issues before they escalate
Brief creative and copy requirements to internal marketing coordinators, then review, approve, and quality-check the output
Paid Search & Paid Social Execution
Build, manage, and optimise Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen, YouTube, and Display
Build, manage, and optimise Meta and TikTok campaigns across prospecting, retargeting, and catalogue activity
Manage audience strategy — custom audiences, lookalikes, exclusions, retargeting windows
Manage product feed and Merchant Center health, catalogue setup, and Advantage+ configurations
Set and adjust bidding strategies, knowing when to override platform automation
Budget, Tracking & Data Integrity
Manage day-to-day budget allocation and pacing across brands, markets, and platforms
Reallocate spend toward best-performing activity and flag under/overspend early; support forecasting for promotional and seasonal periods
Own the integrity of conversion tracking across ad platforms, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and server-side/CAPI setups
Identify and explain discrepancies between platform-reported and analytics-reported performance
Testing, Reporting & Team Development
Own a structured testing program across ad copy, creative, audiences, landing pages, and bidding strategies, with clear hypotheses and statistically valid results
Produce regular performance reporting (weekly, monthly, campaign wrap-ups) that leads with insight and recommended action rather than raw dashboard data
Mentor and review the work of other PPC team members, lifting execution quality and platform knowledge across the function
Contribute to SOPs, launch checklists, and QA standards
Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, content, analytics, and ecommerce/web teams; liaise with platform reps and external vendors.
REQUIREMENT:
7+ years of hands-on, in-house or agency experience managing PPC campaigns
Proven experience running both Paid Search and Paid Social — candidates strong in only one discipline will not be suitable
Advanced, hands-on knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, including build, optimisation, and troubleshooting
Experience managing Microsoft Ads, with exposure to LinkedIn, TikTok, or other social platforms
Strong experience managing paid media budgets, including pacing, reallocation, and accountability to targets
Hands-on experience implementing and QA-ing conversion tracking (GTM, GA4, platform pixels, CAPI)
Experience with Shopping/feed-based campaigns, including Google Merchant Center and catalogue management
Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making skills; excellent attention to detail across multiple simultaneous campaigns
Strong written and verbal English communication skills — able to brief clearly and explain performance to non-technical stakeholders
Relevant certifications (Google Ads, Meta Blueprint) or equivalent demonstrated capability
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Experience managing paid media across multiple international regions
Experience within multi-brand businesses or marketing functions
Ecommerce experience, particularly with Magento, Shopify, or similar platforms
Experience with server-side tracking, Conversions API, or enhanced conversions
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for landing page and tracking troubleshooting
A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation experience
Familiarity with the automotive aftermarket or parts/accessories industry (or ability to learn quickly)
Experience building or improving PPC workflows, documentation, and QA processes within a team
