Our client, a leading enterprise undergoing a large-scale technology transformation, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Test & Quality Engineering to lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide testing, quality engineering, and quality governance initiatives.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving quality excellence across a complex technology landscape, ensuring business-critical systems are resilient, scalable, secure, and production-ready. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping testing strategy, advancing automation and continuous testing practices, and building a high-performing quality engineering capability.
Develop and execute an enterprise-wide testing and quality engineering strategy aligned with business and technology objectives.
Establish and enhance testing governance frameworks, standards, policies, and quality controls across multiple platforms and programs.
Drive consistency in testing practices across delivery teams, projects, and external partners.
Establish and monitor quality metrics, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Champion automation-first testing approaches and the adoption of continuous testing practices.
Drive integration of testing capabilities within Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
Promote quality engineering principles throughout the software lifecycle, including early-stage quality validation and continuous feedback mechanisms.
Lead the evaluation and standardization of testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
Oversee end-to-end testing activities across multiple strategic initiatives and technology programs.
Ensure robust coverage across functional and non-functional testing areas, including performance, security, reliability, scalability, and user experience.
Establish quality gates and release readiness criteria to support successful production deployments.
Provide visibility to senior stakeholders on quality performance, risks, and delivery readiness.
Partner with senior technology leaders, architects, product teams, delivery managers, and operational stakeholders to drive quality outcomes.
Manage relationships with external testing partners and vendors, ensuring service quality, performance, and value realization.
Support effective collaboration between development, testing, and operational teams to enable seamless service transitions and operational stability.
Build and strengthen organizational testing capabilities through mentoring, coaching, and capability development initiatives.
Contribute to the establishment and growth of a Testing or Quality Engineering Centre of Excellence.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and quality ownership across technology teams.
Extensive experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Technology Delivery, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated success leading testing and quality initiatives within large, complex enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of testing governance, quality frameworks, and enterprise delivery practices.
Experience implementing test automation, continuous testing, and quality engineering capabilities at scale.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery methodologies.
Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders across technology, business, and delivery functions.
Experience leading external vendors, managed services, or distributed quality engineering teams.
Experience establishing, transforming, or leading a Testing Centre of Excellence (TCoE) or similar function.
Exposure to enterprise-scale system modernization, digital transformation, platform migrations, or integration programs.
Strong understanding of quality metrics, release governance, and production risk management.
Experience driving improvements in operational stability, defect reduction, and release effectiveness.
