Lead new product introduction (NPI), including pilot line setup, trial production planning, process validation, and monitoring improvement actions during mass production ramp-up.
Supervise and drive process improvement initiatives, analyze production abnormalities, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuously improve product quality, yield, and operational efficiency.
Manage the development, validation, optimization, and standardization of test programs and production operating procedures.
Lead ECN/ECO and engineering change implementation, ensuring timely execution and tracking effectiveness, including customer software and firmware updates.
Coordinate with NPI, Production, Quality, and R&D teams to validate manufacturing processes, support pilot builds, and ensure successful product transfer to mass production.
Supervise production line compliance with ESD control, soldering temperature, torque management, process specifications, 5S standards, and other operational requirements.
Review and approve first article inspection (FAI), pilot run results, process qualifications, and engineering documentation before production release.
Lead, coach, and develop Process Engineers and Technicians, ensuring technical competency and succession planning within the team.
Analyze process KPIs, yield performance, downtime, and customer complaints, providing regular reports and improvement plans to management.
Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Strong knowledge of NPI, process control, yield improvement, ECN/ECO management, and manufacturing problem-solving methodologies.
Excellent communication, cross-functional coordination, leadership, and project management skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, PFMEA, Control Plan, and 8D methodologies is preferred.
Good command of Chinese for daily work communication; English proficiency is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering analysis/reporting tools.
