This is a hands-on UX/UI Lead role focused on website delivery. You will be deeply involved in the design of end-to-end website experiences, including flows, information architecture, wireframes, high-fidelity UI and responsive layouts, primarily in Figma. A major part of the role is to help internalise UI work that is currently outsourced, while establishing clear standards, reusable templates and a Figma-based design system that supports faster, cleaner delivery.
You will also shape the way UX/UI work is run day to day: defining handover standards, clarifying responsibilities with Creative, PMs and Developers, and spotting scope, timing and quality risks early. Over time, the role will move towards people leadership, with mentoring first and then formal line management of a small team. You will additionally support new business activity, estimate UX/UI effort more accurately and help improve workflows, governance and team capacity.
6+ years’ UX/UI or digital design experience, with a strong website focus
Proven delivery of multiple end-to-end website projects
Expert Figma skills and solid design system experience
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, responsive design and front-end constraints
Business-level Japanese and English
Pragmatic, collaborative mindset with coaching potential
