As Sales Representative, you will drive business growth across Japan by developing new customers, expanding existing accounts, and managing distributor and channel partner relationships. You will work closely with OEM customers to understand their technical requirements, development processes, and procurement needs, then deliver appropriate motion control solutions in collaboration with overseas engineering and technical teams.
Key responsibilities include developing territory sales strategies, achieving annual sales, order intake, and revenue targets, preparing quotations and technical proposals, and delivering product presentations. You will maintain customer relationships through regular visits and business reviews, monitor market and competitor activity, and support the Business Unit Manager with market expansion initiatives. The role involves travel throughout Japan.
At least five years of B2B technical sales experience in motion control, damping, industrial components, or related industries.
Proven success achieving sales targets and developing new business.
Experience managing distributors and OEM customers.
Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
Business-level English and customer-facing Japanese.
Strong technical, negotiation, presentation, analytical, and relationship-management skills.
Willingness to travel throughout Japan and work independently in a global team.
