Our client is an established investment management firm with an active venture capital platform in Vietnam and the region. The fund invests in high-growth technology businesses across areas such as FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Robotics, and other disruptive technologies.
The Investment Manager / Senior Manager will lead deal sourcing, investment evaluation, transaction execution, and portfolio management activities. The role will also work closely with founders and portfolio companies on strategic planning, operational improvement, governance, and long-term value creation.
Proactively source and assess investment opportunities through market research, industry networks, and ecosystem engagement.
Lead commercial and investment due diligence, including market sizing, competitive analysis, business-model assessment, and risk evaluation.
Prepare financial analyses, investment materials, and recommendations for internal decision-making.
Coordinate with investment, legal, finance, and operations teams throughout transaction execution.
Support portfolio companies through board participation and regular engagement with founders and management teams.
Contribute to strategic planning, operational improvement, and value-creation initiatives across the portfolio.
Develop and maintain strong relationships within the technology and entrepreneurial ecosystems in Vietnam and other major Southeast Asian markets.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
A postgraduate degree in Business or Technology would be an advantage.
At least 6 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
Venture capital or private equity;
Investment banking or top-tier consulting;
A venture-backed or leading technology company.
Strong understanding of technology businesses, investment analysis, and the venture capital ecosystem.
Established network within Vietnam’s start-up and technology community; regional exposure is an advantage.
Strong business judgment, analytical capability, and investment acumen.
Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working closely with founders and senior stakeholders.
