As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Search AI, you will lead the development of search, recommendation, and AI agent infrastructure that powers intelligent document processing and contract analysis. This role sits at the center of product innovation and requires someone who can architect robust systems, make strong technical decisions, and help shape the future of the platform.
Your work will include designing and building high-performance search and recommendation systems, developing AI agent applications, and improving system performance as usage grows. You will also support and mentor other engineers, research emerging search and AI technologies, and collaborate closely with engineering, ML, and product stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building core product infrastructure and working with modern AI-powered development tools.
3+ years of web backend development or equivalent software engineering experience
Product development experience, preferably with Python
Practical cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar)
Japanese communication skills equivalent to JLPT N2 or practical experience
Interest in AI-powered development tools and processes
