Role & Responsibilities:
Identify, influence, and develop strategic project opportunities at the earliest stages of project development by building strong technical relationships with project owners, designers, consultants, EPC contractors, big contractors, and developers.
Drive specification of the company's solutions into project designs and tender documents, supporting conversion into secured business opportunities.
Identify and track infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects at early stages; develop and maintain a structured project pipeline database.
Build and maintain a structured network of key designers, consultants, investors, contractors, developers, and project influencers; organize and deliver technical seminars, workshops, and product presentations.
Provide early-stage technical consultation on product applications, mix design, and material specifications; support preparation of technical submissions, pre-qualification documents, and tender materials.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming public investment projects; identify future opportunities in infrastructure (metro, expressways, airports, seaports) and building sectors.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Technical, and Product & Technical Solutions teams to align on project priorities and specification requirements.
Continuously develop deep knowledge of the company's product portfolio (cement, concrete, chemicals) and stay updated on technical standards for target project segments.
Manage an active pipeline of 10-20+ projects per year in presales stage, influencing a multi-million USD project pipeline across infrastructure and building segments.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Materials Engineering, or Civil Engineering; Bachelor's/Master's in Bridge & Road, Port Engineering, or Construction Materials preferred.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (10+ years preferred) in construction materials, structural design, supervision consulting, or construction tendering.
Industry background in materials (cement, concrete, steel, construction chemicals, industrial coatings), structural design (bridges, ports, airports), supervision consulting, or construction contracting.
Experience in metro/railway projects and public investment projects preferred; involvement in Grade 1 infrastructure projects (expressways, international airports, metro, seaports) is an advantage.
Strong understanding of project execution and development processes, tendering procedures, and first design stage.
Knowledge of technical specification development processes and stakeholder roles in large projects; solid knowledge of cement, concrete, and construction chemical applications.
Fluent in Vietnamese; strong English speaking skills required; Chinese is an advantage.
Willing to travel within Vietnam and occasionally internationally; good health and able to visit construction sites as required.
Strong leadership competencies: planning and organizing, problem-solving under pressure, clear communication of complex technical information, innovative thinking, and results-driven customer focus.
