About Our Client
Our client is a growing SaaS company providing critical infrastructure software for the energy and utilities sector.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of a major platform enhancement, executed by a dedicated program team. This is a program-delivery-first role, not a hands-on technical one, a separate technical team owns the Azure/Databricks/data-platform work directly. You'll own the integrated delivery plan, schedule, budget, dependencies, risks, and executive reporting, acting as the connective layer between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team. This role reports to the VP of Operations, carries board-level visibility, and requires full ownership from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the integrated project plan across Product, Engineering, Data, QA, Infrastructure, and Go-to-Market workstreams.
- Lead the weekly delivery cadence: sprint/release checkpoints, status reviews, dependency management, schedule recovery.
- Own the program risk register and decision log.
- Track program budget and vendor spend.
- Own the steering committee cadence and prepare executive/board-level updates.
- Coordinate a cross-functional project team and resolve blockers.
- Coordinate with external customer design partners.
What We're Looking For
- PMP certification, or an equivalent high-level program/project management credential (PgMP also accepted).
- 7+ years managing complex software, technology, or data-platform programs, including 3+ years leading multi-workstream programs with executive visibility.
- Demonstrated end-to-end, direct ownership of schedule, budget, dependencies, risk, and delivery outcomes.
- Strong Agile-at-scale experience alongside phase-gated executive governance.
- Track record with decision logs, risk/issue registers, dependency trackers, executive dashboards.
- Excellent written/verbal communication for board-level audiences.
- Comfortable guiding technical teams without being hands-on technical, and able to hit the ground running with no ramp-up period.
Nice to Have
- Infrastructure experience.
- Data lake knowledge.
- Familiarity with Monday.com and the Microsoft suite, including Power Automate.
- Agile certification.
- Experience integrating an acquired team/platform into an existing operating model.
- Exposure to M&A-related program support.
Compensation & Location
$145,000-$160,000 USD. Remote, United States or Canada.
