As Commercial Director, you will lead the commercial agenda for the organisation’s Japanese business, with responsibility for strengthening market performance, developing customer relationships and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.
You will define and execute commercial strategies aligned with wider business objectives, balancing revenue development with long-term customer value. The role will involve engaging with senior stakeholders, understanding market dynamics, strengthening strategic partnerships and ensuring that commercial priorities are translated into effective execution.
You will also provide leadership and direction to the commercial organisation, fostering a high-performance culture based on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. Significant senior-level experience in commercial leadership, business development, sales or a closely related discipline.
A proven track record of developing and executing commercial strategies that support business growth.
Strong experience managing strategic customer relationships and building long-term partnerships.
The ability to understand market trends, identify opportunities and translate insight into practical commercial initiatives.
Demonstrable capability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent negotiation, influencing and stakeholder-management skills, including the confidence to engage with senior decision-makers.
Strong commercial judgement, combined with a structured and results-oriented approach.
