FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Industry: Heavy civil / infrastructure contracting — Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our client is a well-established contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure programs.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (head office based)
Role Purpose:
Lead the financial control function for the business, ensuring accurate reporting, robust cost control, and strong financial governance across projects and business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee monthly financial close, management accounts, and reporting to senior leadership
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow across projects and business lines
Maintain strong project-level cost control in coordination with commercial/project teams
Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and audit requirements
Strengthen financial controls, policies, and internal governance
Partner with senior leadership on financial planning and business performance analysis
Requirements:
10–15 years total finance/accounting experience
Minimum 3–5 years in a Financial Controller (or equivalent senior finance leadership) role
Prior experience within a construction or contracting company is essential
Strong technical accounting background (qualified accountant preferred — CPA/ACCA/CA or equivalent)
Experience managing project-based cost control and multi-entity reporting
Open to candidates of any nationality within Saudi Arabia
