As a UI/UX Designer, you will lead user interface and user experience design for the company’s in-house SaaS products, including a full-scale product redesign. Working from a UX-first perspective, you will translate customer and business needs into intuitive, effective, and scalable digital experiences.
You will collaborate closely with product, sales, and engineering teams throughout the design process, from understanding user needs and defining solutions to creating polished interfaces and supporting implementation. You will also have the opportunity to establish and evolve scalable design systems, contribute to marketing or growth initiatives, and help build the company’s broader design capabilities.
This is a full-time, permanent position based primarily on-site in Tokyo, with selective remote work available upon approval. The role offers potential progression into a Design Lead or Head of Design position and may include mentoring student designers and supporting an internship program.
At least two years of practical UI/UX design experience.
A hands-on, UX-first approach to designing digital products and solving customer problems.
Professional proficiency with Figma.
Working proficiency in Japanese for effective collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, and engineering teams.
Strong ability to communicate design rationale clearly and incorporate feedback constructively.
A strong bias toward speed, ownership, experimentation, and customer-centric decision-making.
Interest in helping establish and grow a dedicated design organization.
Willingness to mentor student designers and contribute to an internship program.
Ability to work primarily on-site in Tokyo within a hybrid working model.
