about 2 hoursJoin a global industrial automation manufacturer helping customers improve the performance of robots, machinery and production processes. The organisation develops control systems, human-machine interfaces and automation solutions for manufacturing customers worldwide.
You will become part of a lean, capable team where people are encouraged to share ideas, take ownership and work collaboratively. The company combines the resources and international perspective of a global business with the accessibility and responsibility of a smaller local organisation.
This is an attractive opportunity for someone seeking an international environment, meaningful customer relationships and long-term professional development. You will work regularly with colleagues and business partners in Europe while contributing to technologies that support the future of manufacturing.
As an Inside Sales professional, you will support the Field Sales team and develop into a core member of the wider sales organisation. Based primarily in the Tokyo office, you will communicate with customers and prospects by telephone, email and online channels.
Initially, your responsibilities will include responding to enquiries, following up with existing and prospective customers, preparing sales materials, maintaining CRM records and organising leads from exhibitions and digital channels. As you gain experience, you will proactively approach prospects, identify their needs, qualify opportunities and arrange handovers to Field Sales.
You will also coordinate with Marketing on exhibitions and campaigns and share useful customer and market feedback internally. Working closely with experienced sales colleagues, engineers and international teams, you will build sales expertise and technical understanding. Longer-term progression into Field Sales or Marketing may be available.
