As a Senior Database Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and evolving the company’s data platform. You will be responsible for building scalable database architectures and data models that support high-performance applications and reliable access to business-critical data. This is a hands-on role focused on both technical execution and long-term platform improvement.
You will work closely with engineering and product teams to improve database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data quality across systems. In addition to writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures, you will help maintain documentation and establish best practices for database development and optimization. The role is remote within Canada and supports a full-time workload in a collaborative, fast-paced SaaS environment.
5+ years of experience in database engineering
Strong SQL and relational database expertise
Experience with Azure SQL or SQL Server
Knowledge of data modeling and performance tuning
Python and Databricks experience preferred
