We are seeking an experienced Development Director to lead the full lifecycle of residential and mixed-use real estate projects — from site acquisition and feasibility through entitlement, design, financing, construction oversight, and delivery. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on managing complex, multi-stakeholder developments and driving projects from concept to completion.
What You'll Do
Lead sourcing, underwriting, and acquisition of residential and mixed-use development opportunities
Manage feasibility studies, financial modeling, and investment committee presentations
Manage general contractors and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Lead cross-functional internal teams (finance, legal, marketing, asset management) across the project lifecycle
Monitor market trends, land opportunities, and competitive positioning to inform pipeline strategy
What We're Looking For
Significant experience in real estate development, with a track record across residential and mixed-use asset classes
Demonstrated experience managing projects from land acquisition through vertical construction and stabilization
Strong financial modeling and underwriting capability
Proven ability to manage external consultants, contractors, and capital partners
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Relevant degree (real estate, finance, architecture, urban planning, or related field); advanced degree a plus
