We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in Hanoi. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical system design, installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems and equipment.
Design, develop, and review electrical systems, circuits, control panels, and electrical schematics in accordance with technical specifications and applicable standards.
Perform electrical installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
Analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project teams, suppliers, contractors, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including electrical drawings, specifications, test reports, and operation and maintenance manuals.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
Support project planning, technical evaluation, cost estimation, and equipment selection as required.
Provide technical support to internal teams and customers, including resolving electrical and control system issues.
Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet quality requirements and agreed timelines.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
3–10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial equipment, machinery, manufacturing, automation, or engineering projects.
Good knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, electrical components, control circuits, and industrial electrical equipment.
Experience in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Familiarity with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or equivalent tools.
Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and safety regulations.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; English communication skills are an advantage.
Willingness to travel to project sites or customer facilities when required.
Experience with PLCs, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, or industrial automation systems.
Experience in electrical installation, testing, commissioning, or maintenance of industrial machinery.
Experience working with international customers, suppliers, or engineering teams.
Knowledge of IEC standards and local electrical regulations.
