Join a global diagnostics and life sciences organization that develops blood-testing instruments and the spare parts that help healthcare providers operate them reliably. You’ll work within a collaborative, international planning organization whose colleagues span multiple time zones and functions.
The company combines a highly automated planning environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence. Employees are encouraged to analyze processes, improve systems, and contribute to global projects as they build experience. With broad product exposure, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to move into senior planning or management roles, this is an attractive environment for professionals seeking long-term development in a complex global supply chain.
As a Supply Planning Analyst, you will manage finished-goods inventory availability across Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and other distribution centers. Working remotely from Japan, you will use planning parameters, mathematical tools, Excel, and Power BI to determine appropriate stock levels and maintain product availability across a broad portfolio of diagnostic instrument spare parts.
You will investigate shortages, identify root causes, and implement countermeasures to strengthen supply continuity. The role also includes reducing excess and obsolete inventory, coordinating returns to locations with greater demand, and managing product phase-outs and transitions to replacement items.
You will review planning exceptions, improve processes, and contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with production sites, freight forwarders, distribution centers, and global colleagues is essential. Occasional domestic travel and infrequent regional travel may be required.
