Our client is a global player in medical aesthetics. A newly developed asset is the catalyst for building a new global franchise from the ground up, with the ambition to become one of the leading aesthetics businesses in the world. As that franchise grows, the business is bringing in future assets to build out the portfolio, sourced through external partnerships rather than developed in-house. This role is the first dedicated lead for one of them.

Asset evaluation and development

• Lead technical and development assessment of externally sourced assets, from product design and clinical data through to regulatory feasibility and manufacturing scalability

• Translate asset decisions into a full development plan: evidence requirements, regulatory pathway, and an integrated programme plan covering timelines, risk and budget

• Own regulatory strategy execution through to CE marking (EU MDR), FDA and other key market registrations

Programme leadership and partnerships

• Drive execution end to end, from asset selection through to registration and commercial launch, across regulatory, clinical, manufacturing and supply

• Act as the primary lead for external partners: developers, manufacturers, licensors and CDMOs

• Operate as the central integrator across the business, aligning technical, regulatory and commercial requirements, and present programme status and risk to senior stakeholders

What you'll bring

• Proven programme, asset or development leadership experience in medical aesthetics, adjacent injectable technologies, or a closely comparable regulated device category (ophthalmology, dental and other adjacent device backgrounds welcome)

• A track record of leading development programmes through to registration and market readiness in a regulated environment (EU MDR, FDA or equivalent)

• Experience managing external partners and cross-functional global teams

• Comfortable leading without formal authority, and building process where none yet exists

• An advanced scientific or technical degree is a plus, not a requirement
