The business depends on close collaboration across retail, education, marketing, and department store partners to deliver consistent standards and respond to the needs of each location.
For a retail leader, the role offers the opportunity to shape performance across multiple stores while developing the people who represent the brand every day. You will work directly with store teams, translate national retail priorities into practical actions, and help build a culture that values strong results, client relationships, teamwork, and continuous development.
The Retail Performance Manager leads the performance and development of assigned retail locations in Japan. Based in Tokyo, this is an onsite, permanent role focused on translating retail strategy into store-level priorities and achieving sales, productivity, and profitability objectives. Through regular store visits and business reviews, you will assess results, identify opportunities, and work with Counter Managers and Beauty Advisors to turn insights into action.
You will strengthen client recruitment, retention, and repeat business through CRM and clienteling, while championing a consistently elevated luxury experience. The role also oversees execution of campaigns, launches, events, visual merchandising, stock management, and retail operations, partnering with internal teams and department store stakeholders. You will coach Counter Managers as business leaders, support team performance and engagement, and work with Education to address capability gaps and build high-performing teams.
