Our client is an established provider of equipment, services and software for the semiconductor and related technology industries. Its work helps manufacturers maintain and develop the advanced production environments on which modern electronic devices depend. Across Japan, customer-facing engineering teams work close to production sites, supporting complex equipment in hands-on settings. The organisation operates in a highly technical, fast-moving sector where careful procedures, practical problem-solving and ongoing learning are important. For engineers who enjoy working with sophisticated equipment and building their technical capability, this is an opportunity to contribute directly to customers’ operations while developing valuable experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
As a Customer Engineer, you will provide on-site technical support for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will work hands-on in cleanroom environments, carrying out equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and related support activities. Following established procedures, you will help maintain reliable equipment performance and respond to customer needs. The role is suited to someone with an engineering background who is keen to learn, develop their practical skills and ask questions when clarification is needed. Positions are available across Japan, with the most urgent need in Higashihiroshima and recruitment also taking place in other regions. Domestic travel may be required, and future transfers within Japan may be discussed. Shift work may apply depending on the assignment; the schedule will be explained during the interview process.
