Role overview:
The QA Lead will define and execute the QA strategy and master test plan across the platform. The role leads QA engineers, coordinates testing across parallel development activities, and oversees quality throughout the development and go-live lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
QA Strategy Define and execute the comprehensive QA strategy and master test plan across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.
Team Leadership Lead and mentor QA engineers while coordinating testing activities across multiple parallel development cohorts.
Test Management Oversee functional, integration, and regression testing throughout the development lifecycle.
Defect Management Establish bug-tracking workflows and identify, document, and prioritize defects through resolution with engineering leads.
Process Improvement Drive QA process improvements to shorten release cycles and increase build quality and deployment confidence.
Go-Live Readiness Prepare the platform for go-live and support the operational transition.
Proven experience leading QA efforts for complex, distributed technology builds.
Hands-on expertise in writing and executing test plans and test cases for API-driven architectures.
Strong understanding of integration testing and data integrity validation across microservices.
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills, including the ability to lead meetings across international time zones.
Strong English communication skills, written and verbal, for leading meetings and coordinating with international teams.
