Our client, a technology organization, is expanding its MES.FA.Report and other business systems and requires robust Oracle Database management capabilities. The organization focuses on maintaining database stability, performance, resilience, operational control, and continuous improvement.
Role overview:
The Oracle Database Specialist will manage the stability, performance, resilience, and operational control of Oracle Database environments. The role focuses on proactive incident prevention, performance and capacity analysis, backup and recovery verification, disaster recovery operations, and the standardization of operational practices.
Key responsibilities:
Database Stability Prevent and detect database incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and support rapid service recovery.
Performance Management Analyze and tune database performance using AWR, ASH, ADDM, and SQL execution plans.
Backup & Recovery Verify RMAN backups, conduct recovery drills, and support the operation of RAC, Data Guard, and DR environments.
Operational Control Standardize database accounts, permissions, operational changes, deployments, and audit trails.
Reporting & Monitoring Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and support effective management based on SLAs and KPIs.
Knowledge Management Develop operational standards, runbooks, and incident cases, and facilitate technical knowledge transfer.
In-depth experience managing Oracle Database environments, including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and DR environments.
Strong knowledge of database performance management and tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM, and SQL execution plans.
Experience with database backup verification, recovery drills, and operational change control.
Experience standardizing accounts, permissions, deployments, and audit trails.
