About the Role
We're working with a well-known client on a power project in Abu Dhabi. This is a site-based, hands-on role covering electrical, instrumentation and controls works through to handover, working alongside Mechanical, Insulation & Refractory, and BOP supervisors as part of a wider site team.
What You'll Be Doing
Supervising E&IC construction works on site, from installation through to testing and handover
Managing and directing contractors and sub-contractors, holding them to programme and quality standards
Coordinating loop checks, cable termination, and instrument calibration activities
Handling client-facing progress reporting and escalations directly
Coordinating with the wider supervisory team across Mechanical, Insulation & Refractory, and BOP disciplines
Driving works through to completion against a tight project schedule
What We're Looking For
8–10 years' experience as an E&IC Supervisor, with genuine hands-on field and construction experience, not commissioning only
Background in Power, Oil & Gas, or Refinery projects
Strong electrical, instrumentation and controls knowledge, IEC/IEEE standards
Proven experience managing contractors and sub-contractors directly on site
Confident operating in client-facing situations, not purely execution-focused
