The Facility Manager will lead soft services facilities management across Japan, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality workplace experience aligned with corporate standards. Reporting to the VP/Head of Workplace Operations – APAC, this role serves as a key operational partner to local leadership, regional teams, employees, landlords, and service providers.
This position oversees day-to-day workplace operations, including cleaning, pantry services, office upkeep, space coordination, vendor management, and employee experience. It also supports business continuity, safety, security, workplace compliance, and administrative operations. In addition, the role helps coordinate workplace changes across multiple locations, including Tokyo and Fukuoka, and provides remote support for South Korea and Australia. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, stakeholder management, and a service mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional qualification
15–20 years of facilities management experience, with a strong focus on soft services and workplace operations
Proven experience in vendor management, office services, and workplace coordination
Strong understanding of Japanese labor and safety regulations, compliance requirements, and corporate workplace operations
Fluent communication skills in English and Japanese
Experience in a corporate or multinational environment
Licensed Fire Prevention Manager (甲種防火管理者) and Health and Safety Officer (衛生管理者)
