As Director, IT Vendor Management, you will lead strategic vendor governance and relationship management for a complex technology organization in Japan. You will oversee a portfolio of more than 50 IT suppliers across Japan and offshore operations, helping ensure strong performance, commercial discipline, risk management, and business value.
You will partner with Japan, regional, and global procurement teams, IT leadership, delivery organizations, legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders. Key responsibilities include supporting RFP and RFI activities, managing renewals and contract consolidation, overseeing statements of work and contract reporting, establishing governance forums, and defining KPI, SLA, and SLO expectations. You will also lead vendor scorecards, risk remediation, financial analysis, forecasting, and negotiation strategies designed to improve cost, flexibility, quality, and control outcomes.
