As an Enterprise Technology Support Engineer, you will provide technical support for enterprise software environments, helping customers diagnose and resolve complex issues across server platforms, directory services, and authentication technologies. You will investigate incidents, analyze technical information, communicate findings clearly, and guide customers toward effective and sustainable resolutions.
Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting environments running Linux, RHEL, SLES, and Windows Server; supporting integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, OpenLDAP, and eDirectory; and investigating authentication technologies such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, Kerberos, and IAM. You will collaborate with internal technical teams, document solutions, and contribute to a consistently high customer experience. This permanent position is based in Tokyo, Japan.
Experience in technical support, product support, application support, or a similar customer-facing engineering role.
Strong troubleshooting experience with Linux or Windows Server environments, including RHEL, SLES, or comparable platforms.
Practical knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, OpenLDAP, eDirectory, or related directory services.
Experience with identity and access management or authentication technologies, such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, Kerberos, or IAM.
Ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and communicate solutions clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused and collaborative approach.
Ability to manage multiple support cases, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
